Up Next: SUFFS
Floyd Central hosts the All-State Musical Production this summer before it hits the International Thespian Festival Mainstage!
June 19 & 20, 2026 at 2pm
Suffs is about the brilliant, passionate, and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. Created by Shaina Taub, the first woman to ever independently win Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in the same season, this musical tells their story: the remarkable friendships, the heartbreak, and how this movement brought them together — or, in some cases, tore them apart. Using American Sign Language-integrated blocking and choreography to emphasize the moments when their voices are not being heard, this production features students from 18 different troupes across Indiana, reminding audiences that progress is always possible but never guaranteed.
