Almost, MaineThis play consists of a series of 9 short plays that tell the story of Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. It was performed on our Main Stage and live-streamed on the dates below! $18 per ticket.

Why Online Shows?
With the necessary health precautions currently limiting how theatre can be done, we are excited to be bringing you virtual performances! In the weeks past , we offered online showings of past Floyd Central productions. As we move into our 20-21 season, we are offering at-home viewing of at least some of this year's performances. Safety is our number one priority, closely followed by the education of our students; we hope to be able to successfully accomplish both in the year ahead!
